Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Generally speaking, this Rise is really rising from the former in which there are just apes fighting against each other. However this Rise of the Planet of the Apes deliveries more of enlightenment and shadows more of our real society of human beings.

Focus one: the condemnation of animal protection organization

Do humans have the right to do animal experiences? Maybe the testing results can heal the Alzheimer's disease, but those apes that lose their family members will die from depression.

Focus two: I am just a pet.

Do you think animals have their own self-consciousness? When I come to be aware of the necklace on my neck, what will you explain to me?

Focus three: Do human beings really evolve from apes?

Evolution VS Creationism

Evolution: look, even if the ape becomes cleverer, it is still the ape

Creationism: look, the ape is becoming cleverer.

Tearing point one: if there is no window, where is the soul?

My heart is going to be torn down when I see Caesar drawing windows of his house kept in the cage.

Tearing point two: Let me teach you how to use the knife and fork

I was touched twice by this scene, one in the trailer, the second when I watch it in the full length.

All in all, the plot is not bad and truly moving. If you are a sci-fi fan, you cannot miss the Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
